Cassius Johnson leads national and federal policy and government affairs for the Year Up, with headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts and 16 sites nationally. He directs the organization’s efforts to develop an effective policy and advocacy agenda and strategy that grows opportunities for urban young adults to master the skills and attain the education, work experience and supports that will empower them to reach their potential in professional careers in high demand sectors.

Cassius is also a member of the Massachusetts State Workforce Board, where he chairs Youth Committee.
