Product Lead at United States Digital Service
Kathy Pham is a computer scientist with a love for developing products, building and leading teams, cancer side-kicking, and weaving pubic service and people advocacy in all aspects of her life. Kathy is currently a product lead and early team member of the United States Digital Service (USDS) where she has lead and contributed to several digital services across government, developing ways to bring better, more targeted care to all people. Prior to USDS, Kathy was a technical product manager for Google Search, data scientist for Google’s People Operations, the first associate product manager for Google Health, and built data warehouses for some of the largest hospital systems in the country. In her non-working hours, Kathy has fought cancer with her mom, advocated for patients who need the most care, founded a non-profit, mentored students and early career computer scientists, founded the Women in Government Systers community, and volunteered with Girls Who Code. Kathy holds a Bachelor and Masters of Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Diplome de Master Professionnel, l’informatique from Supelec in France.
