Laura Moran blends over 30 years of business, education and philanthropic experience to promote educational equity cross-sector partnerships in the Bay Area. She currently serves as the San Francisco’s Chamber of Commerce Interim Director for Unite SF, which reflects a collective commitment to Mayor Lee’s Education Council to ensure all students graduate SFUSD college and career ready and persist through post-secondary pathways to careers in SF.
She recently served as the Chief of Strategy and Development for San Francisco Unified School District where she worked with the Board of Education and Superintendent to create Vision 2025; Reimagining Education for a new generation. Prior to SFUSD, she was the Chief Services Officer for Oakland Unified School District leading the transformation of the district’s performance management and service culture to support school leaders to close the opportunity gaps for Oakland youth.
