Women Techmakers Project Manager (Contractor) at Google
Amy co-leads Google’s global Women Techmakers program, which provides visibility, community, and resources for women in technology. She launched a new Membership program, and leads special projects and partnerships with internal teams as well as organizations outside of Google to support women of diverse intersectionalities in the tech industry. Prior to this role, she helped launch CODE2040 as the first full-time hire and director of their flagship Fellows Program, working with tech companies, universities, and technologists to build strong pathways for talented Black and Latinx technologists to succeed in the tech industry.
Amy started her career as an educator and community organizer, working in cities across the U.S. and around the globe leading programs to develop the educational and career potential of marginalized communities. She grew up in San Francisco and earned her MSW from Columbia University.
