Senior Industry Liaison at Portland Dev. Commission
Katherine is a Senior Industry Liaison at the Portland Development Commission (PDC), the economic development agency for Portland, Oregon. Her current focus at PDC involves projects and initiatives to bolster Portland’s high-growth entrepreneurs across industry and throughout the city, including management of the city’s annual startup competition and incubator, Startup PDX Challenge. A core focus of her work is building partnerships, connections and programs to make Portland’s startup and technology community more inclusive for startups led by women and people of color. Katherine has a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning from Portland State University and has worked in the field of economic development for over a decade.
