Laura is the founder and CEO of Atipica, a machine learning recruiting startup focused specifically on company’s internal applicant databases for business intelligence optimization. Atipica’s features highlight all applicants and provide insights to demographic and diversity trends while interrupting biases in the matching process. Laura previously worked at Twitter where she was a founding team member of the International team and lead product expansion into 50 languages and in dozens of countries. She has also worked at Hewlett-Packard, Jawbone, YouTube, Google Brasil and AKQA London. Laura has been featured in hundreds of publications and television programming around the world, including New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Forbes México, GQ México, Harper’s Bazaar and Huffington Post.
Laura is also a founding team member of Project Include, an open community working toward providing meaningful diversity and inclusion solutions for tech companies.
Recognized by the Department of State and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for involvement in the TechWomen Program 2012. Laura serves on the board of Institute for Technology and Public Policy alongside Lt Governor Gavin Newsom and former Secretary of State George P Schultz.
