Software engineer with the U.S. Digital Service
Sabrina Williams is a software engineer with the U.S. Digital Service. Sabrina grew up in Monterey, CA and graduated from Stanford with a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.S. in Computer Science. She began her career at HP in Boise, ID where she worked on printer drivers. She then went to Google where she worked on Chrome, Google Glass, and Ads. She joined the U.S. Digital Service a year ago and is currently leading the USDS engineering efforts within the State Department where we are working on immigration-related projects. In her time at USDS, she has worked with multiple agencies, including the Departments of Education, Justice, and Homeland Security. In addition to her work as an engineer, Sabrina has also been involved in many diversity in tech initiatives, volunteering her time with organizations like Code2040, teaching computer science at Howard as part of the Google in Residence program, and serving as a mentor with NewMe Accelerator.
